A unique one-off piece of furniture art created from a curvaceous oak framed antique chair frame.
Traditionally restored frame with ‘Parade Black’ painted Ball and Claw legs to the front of the piece, resting on floor protector caps.
Using traditional upholstery skills we have reworked the piece to have the instantly recognisable ‘Churchill haunched’ backrest.
Our Savile Row tailor has recreated the famous Winston jacket, Union Jack waistcoat with vintage buttons and black Melton wool coat overflowing onto the seat.
Dressing the piece with a crisp white cotton collar, matching Melton wool neckpiece, gracing the piece with the famous ‘Winston’ navy and white polka dot dickie bow tie and fitted matching handkerchief to the breast pocket.
To finish off the piece we have fitted a rare vintage ‘V for Victory’ brass badge to the lapel, authentic antique gold plated long link pocket watch chain with coin and matching Union Jack piped detail.
To the rear of the piece, we have encapsulated a letter from Winston Churchill's doctor dated 1932 with the recommendation and benefits of alcohol consumption
